Help for Flora from Envu Australia

BIEPA member Wayne Ryder, of Banksia Beach, recently volunteered his team from Envu Australia to work on a Flora Team project for BIEPA.

Team-building day for Envu Australia at Ernest Sendall Park

Wayne’s team came from the Redlands, Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast to participate in some team building on Bribie Island. As part of their volunteering day on 8th November, the team weeded, mulched and moved a pile of soil on the Jubilee planting site at Ernest Sendall Park. This work has helped prepare the site for summer.

Wayne only recently joined BIEPA and has already contributed much to one of our major projects. Envu Australia specialises in vegetation management and we look forward to working on future projects together; the Envu team were lots of fun.

Community outreach is of vital importance to BIEPA and its members as we raise awareness to environmental issues on the island. Thank you Envu!!
